Tip: drag across squares to paint lots at once. Tap a painted square again to remove its paint. Choose Hide numbers and tap a square to hide or reveal it.
How to use Paint the Squares
Paint the Squares is a free interactive number square for primary maths. Use it to count in steps, show times tables and multiples, explore odd and even numbers, or hide numbers for a missing number game. Change the grid from 10 to 120 squares, start at any number, and count in 1s, 2s, 5s, 10s or tenths.
